I’m Jett and I’ll be helping out around here with the confessions. I have some new ideas that I hope will get us some more views and confessions in the future, as well as keeping the blog a bit more active, since the main admin’s been a bit busy over the past few months. Anyways, nice to see you all and I hope I’ll be posting more frequently for you guys! ♥
the king is death! long live the king !!
Just as a reminder, I still read the blog.
And a warm welcome to Jett!
Hello dear followers, new and old!
I am very sorry that I did not have the time to process your great confessions in the past few months.
It is still very hectic with my school projects and everything of that snazz..
However, if you are a true fan of Guild Wars 2 and you have some time to kill every week, I could use your help!
Every great idea needs a team to make it work, and you could be a part of the gw2Confessions team!
Just send in a fanmail with your details and we’ll work something out!
Filecreator, main mod
Sorry for the lack of posts lately folks!
I have started out on a new school to learn more about Game Art, so I have little time to post the updates, let alone work on other solo projects.
However, I have an idea!
During my summer holiday, I appointed the awesome White Char to take my place as long as I was gone.
This time, I`m taking solicitations for this position!
If you have some spare time every day and wish to contribute some more to our lovely little community, drop me a fanmail with why you should fill this position!
Well there are plenty of Vista’s that you can reach without jumping puzzles as well!
As for the jumping puzzles themselves, I see what you mean.
Personally I`m a big fan of em, but there is a certain one in Lions Arch that I nailed in one try, yet totally failed on an Alt.
Its just one of those things that we`ll have to get used to though!
Keep trying and you`ll succeed!
How about you guys, any luck jumping?
After this arrived in my inbox, I was wondering what the good man was talking about.
It seems to be less of a problem though, seeing that this is not from GW community, but one blog dedicated to male characters from populair MMO’s.
Lets do everybody a favor, and just block this User from our dashboards.
Unless you are into that stuff.
Then go right ahead and oogle it.
Either way, if there is more you wish to tell our GW2Confessions community, do tell us!
Good sir. Please take a seat over there and inhale deeply.
Guild Wars 2 is a video game.
There is a storyline with characters that are fleshed out very nicely.
This means that these characters act both rationally and irrationally.
What Gwen did was a sign of good writing.
She was upset, angry and tired.
Ofcourse she would make a statement like that.
You, however, are a real human of flesh and blood, who gets angry of a video game character for shouting at your own video game character.
And then wishes that this greatly written character would have been killed off, resulting in a large chunk of the story to disappear with her.
Thats not a cool thing to do.
However, it does show again how convincing the writing was if you took so much offense to it!
Or you are just overly attached to the game and need to get out some more.
You be the judge of that.
People like that often haven’t played the game themselves, or go by of what other people say.
Dont judge them for their mistakes, and dont try to shove it down their throats that “they are wrong”.
If you have the chance, let them look over your shoulder as you play, or give them some time with the game themselves while you explain whats going on in the game!
Just dont forget never to fall in the same trap,
NEVER judge a book by its cover.
Most of the time, you`ll be wrong and have to eat your words :)
If you DO know somebody who changed his or her mind about the game, point them to our confessions page!
We would love to hear what changed their opinions!
Don’t feel bad about things you cant change!
Everybody gets excited about things in their own way, and most of the time, the people who are most vocal about their “hyped up” feelings for something are also the ones getting the most backlash about it, getting trolls and haters swarming over them.
You can be hyped, but dont push it into peoples faces ;)
Or you can be less hyped, but still eager to play!
Any which way is good enough~!
As long as you submit your confessions after playing that is!
In regards to the downtime of GW2, what shall we do?
All keep in mind that every launch has its ups and downs, and that this is not even a launch.
It is a head start.
Just like the Beta and Stress Tests, you paid to test this thing.
Do not misunderstand this.
As long as you cannot log in or play for other reasons, dont go to the GW2 Facebook page and complain about it, they are fixing it.
Do something useful or fun instead.
Go for a walk or draw fanart, or read through all of the submissions of our blog!
Seriously, did you read them all?
I.. Had no idea how to fix this post.
This was the most coherent confession I could make of it..
Please people, if you do honor us by submitting a confession, please use proper English!
I am not a native English user and make my fair share of typo’s, but as soon as there is slang or leetspeak involved, I am inclined to just give up.
Either way, today’s confession comes from Aligra-Mace!
Starting from this confession, I will no longer directly link to the confessee’s userpage, but instead list them in the Tags.
I hear this allows users that submitted the confessions to dig them up better in our archives :)
Got some confessions queued up for everybody!
Now then, if only the servers would go online again, I could continue my epic Asuran journey!
Just to let you all know,
We currently have 5 Confessions that I need to turn into submissions, but I am nowhere near my PC to upload them.
So worry not, I hope I`ll be able to queue em al#mce_temp_url#l up tomorrow!
Meanwhile, if you had fun during the stress test yesterday, please tell us what you did!
Oh but its ever so important that everything feels right.
This might be the case for a PvE-er, but even more for a roleplayer.
Say that your making an Asura Warrior.
You flesh him out, making him look buff, menaching look on his face, ears torn and a fowl grin on his lips.
His colorscheme is red and black, signs of his devotion to slaying all that stands in his way.
And then his name.
Not so intimidating, right?
As a matter of fact, not even lore appropriate, seeing as Asura have mechanical sounding names like Snaf, Zoija, Bakk, Klin, etc.
Then again, when your just a pvp-er, you can roll with anything.
But dont expect anybody to take your outlook on lore seriously ;3
This confession has been send in by the use of our clean template!
Congrats on getting the premium non anonymous post, BookahPlease!!
